I've gotta' give my taxidermist a good plug here. What some awesome work!!! Paul Pennie, of High Country Horns, has done a number of heads for me over the years. This here is the best piece of work yet for me. These were two of the biggest bucks I've ever killed with a bow and rifle, and they were in the same year, so I broke the bank. Very cool..........

He does fantastic work.

Beautiful all the way around. Bucks and the pedestal are all put together nicely . It's not just like he threw a buck on a pedestal mount . What state is High country horns located ? Are the bucks going to be at the Expo ?

SICK!!

Like the way he put summer tree behind velvet buck and fall behind the hard horned. Beautiful work. Awesome deer.

LAST EDITED ON Jan-23-14 AT 01:25PM (MST)[p]Big, Pauls located in Alpine, UT. He usually has a bunch of critters mounted out in the lobby of the expo, where you validate yours apps.

Brian, those look sweet.

Beautiful mounts Brian. I saw your bucks in Paul's shop when I dropped off my elk. I hope my bull turns out as well as your bucks.

Thanks for the compliments on the work guys,it's always fun to mount big bucks...I'm really busy getting ready for the expo, going to have some big ole bucks and some big rams this year.I will be out front again stop by and shoot the bull,it's always good times to talk with the MM crew...

Man, awesome work. I like the idea of the leaves, but definitely hard to pull off two different stages of the leaves.

I think I shot the Colorado slug's little brother a few years back, just has the inline and kicker on opposite sides.
