Had a great year for deer hunting. I took this buck in Colorado 3rd season. Took my wife hunting or the first time and she was able to take a buck in Oregon and one in Montana. She is hooked and she now wants a moose of all things.

Here is my wife's second buck of the year, a nice Eastern Montana buck. She passed several bucks until she found the on she wanted. She made another great shot.

Here is my oldest daughter with my Oregon buck. I tried to get her on this buck but she thought the shot was too far and we couldn't get closer. She got her first buck the next morning, a 3x3 whitetail.

Great season Rich!

Im on the IPad so all I had to do was lock the screen and turn it upside down. Haha. I have had poor luck posting pics so I don't even try anymore.

This was my sons first year hunting big game with me and my Dad. It was a great time hitting Wyoming and Nevada. The game was a little hard to find in WY but at least he was able to take a good goat.

Here's the buck he shot on the first evening hunt in 192 in Nevada. This buck was taken just above Topaz Lake on the way up to the towers. It was big enough for him for his first deer, so he shot him. I was very proud of him for making a great shot. This was the only buck we saw in the 4 days of hunting that was bigger than a forked horn so I was very glad we didn't pass this guy up.

Here's the Nevada buck that I shot 2 weeks after my son shot his. I was lucky enough to have a great wife who TOLD me to go back and fill that tag. I went by myself this time and hunted an area that has higher in elevation. I shot him the first evening on a windy, cold evening. It's my biggest buck to date. I owe my wife all the thanks in the world because I had accepted the fact that my tag would go unfilled.

Even if we hadn't have shot any game, this year still would have been considered a success. I loved spending time with my son and my Dad out in the mountains. I loved having to tell him continuously to walk quieter and to look around. :) I loved quizzing him about the wind and how many yards away certain bushes were to test his knowledge. He's learning and I'm stoked to be the one teaching him....just like my Dad did for me.

Idaho general tag. Went out on opening day just for fun and saw him at 420 yds. The pack-out was nice with the great scenery. I really enjoyed this hunt.
