I personally think he is 28-29" a shooter in my book. is he a 3 on one side??

If it's a Henry Mtn deer it's 30" If it's a Ruby Mtn deer it's 26"

He is gonna be a dandy when his tops finish out. He will be dang close to 30" - but my initial guess at first glance was 29".

I think the deer in your photo is just under that magical 30" mark. I passed on this deer 2 years in a row and killed him on the 3 year. He was right at the 30 mark when I killed him.
