Pahvant Range

I was just down on the pahvant range scouting for deer and setting up trail cams. I noticed that the range is very dry and water seems to be in shortage. I also noticed that the grasses were a lot taller and thick in areas. Noticed that there was very many moo cows around. Seen prob a tenth of what I normally see. Anyone know if there was a grazing right cut back? Or are the cows just not up at the higher elevations yet? Maybe cattlemen aren't taking cows up cause so dry? Just wondered if anyone had thoughts or insight on this?
