Henry Mtn Trip

Took my first ever trip to the Henry Mountains. It will not be my last. Spent only two mornings and one evening there. But as amateurs to the mountain, I think my dad and I came away with some awesome bucks found. I now know why the Henry's can get in your head as a Muley Fanatic.

Let me guess, you drive a 1 ton with oak trees for smoke stacks, 12" lift kit and 40" tires to pull a single place lawn mower trailer?

Nice pics. I was down there this last weekend too. Scared a cougar off the road that was stalking a herd of deer. It was neat to watch, and I saved a deer for a day.

Also- the buck with the big split cheater off his right side was my favorite buck of the trip... I know there are guys out there that could pass every single one of the bucks I saw, but it'd be pretty hard for me...

alright, this is my first time trying to post pictures so I hope this works...

I too made my first trip down to the henry's this year, but only got to stick around for one night and one morning. This buck has his extras in the same spots as the big cheater buck posted. Am I up in the night thinking this could be the same deer and that he grew THAT much??? I'm sure someone out there knows whether or not it's the same buck! These pictures are from around the end of June. What do you guys think?

Great pics! Hopefully in my lifetime I draw that tag. My wife's 15 yr old nephew drew the tag this year. I don't think he understands just how lucky he is and whats in store for that hunt. Hopefully he doesn't shoot the first 23" 4pt he sees.
