What do you think of this buck? What would you score him at? How wide?

I like the looks of this buck.
Are you finding these bucks this year?
Are you doing it alone?

He looks about 26 wide.
Probably in the 190's.

Crowdin 30" outside and pushin 200! Keep in mind I suck at judgein, but he's a sweet buck!

Founder, another Dandy buck!

I like that 9x12 a bit better. I think he's wider, a little taller, better main beams and much nicer G-4's or fronts in general.

This buck looks like he might be heavier though, his back forks and inlines are nice.

I'd still put that other buck at least a notch above this one.

I would not hesitate taking this buck, sometimes you just don't need to worry about the score and release this is a once in a lifetime buck.

Maybe 28" and low 180's.
Great buck, will be a super buck next go around.

LAST EDITED ON Aug-14-14 AT 08:00AM (MST)[p]That buck is a total stud. I shoot that on opening day of any unit.

There is no way that buck is under 190 IMO. I think he's pushing the magic two bills. Might not get there. But I think he is at least close.

*Edit: I change my mind. I think he breaks 200.

28" outside spread from cheater to cheater and 195-200". Shooter!

Browning A-Bolt 300 Win Mag
Bowtech Destroyer
Winchester Apex .50 Cal

I think Founder has finally hit his trophy hunting dilemma. How often do we hear guys on this forum say, "Wait another year or two" to which the majority of us have to say, "Okay, but I hunt public land and this deer may be killed by someone else."

Founder is in that predicament here. I think Founder wants to pass this buck and hope he makes it at least another year. Next year he could have as much as 20-30 more inches of bone on his head. Except, he is on public ground and will definitely be shot by anyone that is not Founder...

I have this feeling regarding any buck with 4 points per side. At least Founder doesn't feel the pinch until he's located a 190" 7x8... :) Happy hunting Founder. :)

For the record- there's no way I'd pass such a buck.

depends on which stat this one is in and what state the other big buck you found is in!?? kind of a good problem to have..... hmmmm decisions decisions.

"Shoot Straight"

175" main frame with 20" of extras, pushing 200" gross. 32" wide outside. He scores weak because of the inside spread. phenomenal buck nevertheless. BANG!

way to young, still see milk on his lip s, elkassassin says give him at least 5 more years!!! wont make 2oo>!!!

RE: 7x8, heavy diude .... but is he big?

Bigger frame and less trash than the last one. Should score about the same.

I need to go look at him soon and see how big he ends up. I hope my hunting buddy this year is excited. There are a few good ones to hunt. I'm still hoping to turn up a "for sure" 200 incher.

Why so the sportsman tag can come shoot them with a rifle on the Archery hunt? I'm pretty sure this buck was shot in the last couple days. I heard last night that they got him but haven't seen pics or nothing.

LAST EDITED ON Aug-25-14 AT 01:25PM (MST)[p]I think this buck was killed last night. If it wasn't this one a good buck was killed last night. Probably be a few days before pics surface.

Correction this buck was not killed last night. A bigger buck was that I thought was this one.
