Thought I would share some photos of the buck I took up in the "Danger Zone" as we call it. This buck was taken on opening day at 10,300' and definitely was king of the mountain in this area.

Great pics, great buck and thanks for sharing. Looks like you owned him. Lots of preseason scouting and a job well done. And every year another stud. Keep them coming.

Congrats Sean. Beautiful buck. You certainly put in the time and effort leading up to hunt. Now go help your dad smoke a monster.

Congrats! I read your story last year and am glad to see you do it again. Put your head down, get to work, and go where others won't and you look what you find!

I love this post. I should give you my muzz tag just so we can have another great post like this.

Congrats Sean on a bomber high country buck!
I know all the work and effort that goes into hunts like this, and they dont always end in a bloodtrail. Way to go.
I'm equally impressed with your dad being a part of it with you.
Those memories are long remembered and worth more and more as time goes on. Congrats to both of you! Very impressive
Kip

Congrats on a great buck and thanks for sharing the pictures of your adventure! Looks like you have found a fantastic spot!

You did it again! Keep up the hard work it looks like it has really paid off. That buck is a true STUD!!! Congrats to you and your father. Work Hard, Hunt Harder!!

Awesome buck....congrats! Impressive to do it consistently with a general tag.

THANKS guys! Much appreciated!

My buck was aged to be 6-years old!

I actually located this buck a couple weeks before the season in an entirely new area. After getting a closer look, I decided he was the buck to focus on. The work then began as we had to build a campsite, haul in water and gear. Even being the most difficult area I've ever hunter, it was well worth it!

I've been a fan of the Rage broadheads for years and shot my buck with the Rage Hypodermic this past hunt.

I don't know which is more impressive, you killing that awesome buck or your Dad making that hike.

Why did you need the tarp over your tent, water wasn't gonna stick to it! I would be careful with the pics though, UDWR will see its got a out of whack buck to doe ratio and decimate that herd. Cool pic with them all together like that.

Thanks for sharing! Awesome buck - love those backs!!!!
