Usually I just watch around here but think I might have to start posting a little more. I sure love getting on here and seeing all the pics of big bucks that everyone is seeing.

Is anyone still scouting? It's been hard to be patient with all of the successful hunt pictures. There has been some nice bucks shot this year!! Just thought I'd share a few of the pics I have got this year. I've had a blast scouting the high country and even if I don't harvest a buck it has been a fun season. I would be a happy camper with any of these bucks on a general hunt. I am interested to see what you guys think the last buck scores? I was pretty stoked to find him on the camera. I haven't seen him on the hoof but most of the rest I have seen on the hoof as well as the cameras.

Good luck on finding the buck your after.
I think the last buck scores around 155-160".

There's always next year

Really Nice thread you have here. Nice Pic's and a great attitude towards the upcoming season, Congrats!!

That last buck could use eyegards and more mass but his backs are beautiful and his fronts though crabby, still score pretty well. I think he's low to mid 160's.

Good luck on your huntin!!

Great post. Love the scouting pics and I hope you have a chance at any of the bucks posted. You definitely found a good spot.

As far as the last buck, I'd say even without much mass, he is a solid 160" buck. His tine length is great, even his "crabby" front still has some length on it... In fact, having scored a 167" buck just last night, I'd say this one's a 165" buck. He's a "taker" in my world...

Thanks guys. I will post some pics if we are able to pull one out. I like that last buck but I really like that skyline buck too. I'm guessing he is a 26-28 wide 3 point and I am able to find him on my scouting trips. Hopefully luck will fall our way but if not it will be fun to see what these bucks look like next year!
