Mule Deer Cape.......anyone?

Hello, was wondering if anyone could help me. Last weekend I shot a buck in Idaho and ended up ruining the cape. To make a long story short...I SCREWED UP!! Does anyone on this forum have a 22 or 24 inch cape to sell? I know it's a long shot, but let me know if you can help. Thanks a lot...Sick in Idaho

I have one I just caped yesterday. It's in Oregon so I don't know how much it would cost to ship. I was going to call the taxidermy shop tomorrow and sale it anyway but not sure what the going price would be.

If you are very lucky, someone will be able to help out with a cape. But, depending on a lot of variables, you are probably looking at around $100. And if your measurements of 22 - 24 are at the smallest point of the neck, you may be into a raw skin for around $150. 22 - 24 inch neck is HUGE... Good luck finding one. I wish I could help. Where are you from? My dad is a taxidermist near Denver, I would almost be certain he has one.

As a side note, do not under any circumstances attempt to buy a cape from a taxidermist named Richard Hurd from Colorado and New Mexico.
That S.O.B stole over $600 from me when I gullibly believed he had several huge muley capes he would sell me.
I sent the money and he disappeared.

I'll run that bastard's name into the ground till the day I die.

Eastforku-----Hey I have a beautiful muley cape in the freezer right now. I killed a 180+ inch 5 ? year old buck in the Greys River this year and decided to European it since my wife says no more heads on the wall. I just put it on facebook for 100.00.
