Cameron was able to take this fine buck on the last day of the Nevada rifle season.

This is his buck a couple hours before he shot him.

Nice Buck Cameron, I would blown that picture up and have it framed to put under the mount. That is a good looking buck.

Another comment on that great Pic. I don't know how you guys can hold it together to take a pic like that.

I hunted the Ruby's a good bit as a young man on a large chunk of private and put more than a few other guys on good to great bucks there thru the years. That's a heck of a buck for that country. If i saw that view thru my glass, heck with the pic's, all i'd be thinking was just how i was going to be able to put my tag on him! lol

Congrats again!

Congrat's Cameron, that a wonderful looking buck. Lots of guys will never even get to see a buck of that quality in the field. You made a great shot and along with getting to eat some venison. Once you get you buck back you will get to look at the mount and rethink that special time you got that buck with Dad. Memories forever.

Hopefully when you get your buck back from the taxi. You will post a pic of the mount.

Awesome buck! He's bigger than anything I saw this year in Nevada. Congrats on a great buck!

lv2hnt, Thanks for the close-up pic but i'm still digging the other pic. I don't know how many times i've looked across a hillside and seen a buck with does. One look at that guy though, that look right there,.. and i know that he's big enough and it's time to take care of business!

That first sighting of a good buck, that's what dreams are made of right there! lol

LAST EDITED ON Nov-11-14 AT 06:37PM (MST)[p]No, not an area 10 buck. Couldn't give me one of those tags. Too many people for me.

LAST EDITED ON Nov-11-14 AT 07:23PM (MST)[p]luvz2hunt, That was my mistake. From that pic with the crown of rocks behind your Son, i thought i knew right where that was.

Maybe those area 10 hunts have changed. I'm pretty sure they have but back in the late 70's and early 80's, we took some real hogs out of there, ones that nobody now days even thinks of passing on. Back then, we hunted a huge chunk of private, with only us around, and the Season ran thru the 15th of November...

Though it's been awhile, those memories are still very fresh!
