A long time ago, when Founder moved the hunting stories link, I had a hard time finding it. He was kind enough to send me a link which I bookmarked so I would never lose that treasure trove of
wonderful accounts again. Just happened to click on it today and lo and behold there is that account of Lee's meat buck. Story has been updated to say that the owner of the rack has submitted it to B&C as new potential record as it surpasses the existing record by
several inches. Does anyone know anything? Will they accept a submission by Kirt Darner? Here is the link in case someone needs it. http://www.monstermuleys.com/cgi-bin/stories/site.pl?page=meatbuck&tem=th

I asked this very question about 6 months ago, no one is really sure, but most likely it has been tarnished simply by being owned by Darner. This article is probably a dozen years old, so I can only deduce that something went wrong along the way to world record-dom.

I've been hearing the name Kirt Darner for a few years but never knew what he did or who he was. He was a little bit before my era.

I did some research today on him and I gotta some people really are stupid and will do anything for the recognition of others and money or whatever his motivations were.

He's a real piece of work.

No, they will not.

On some great and glorious day, the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last and the White House will be occupied by a downright fool and complete narcissistic moron."
