2014 Colorado muzzle loader mule deer taken by my wife this year. It has been scored for the long hunter record book. No prizes, just breaking up the January boredom.

I will post score in a few days,

Rich

I'd guess but that would spoil it since I seen the scorecard a couple months ago. Very nice buck though.

191 4/8

I shot a management deer very similar to that with high eyeguards except it was a 3 X 5 and scored 175. I would guess 185+

Great buck!

195

If he's not he should be, haha. And better than some of the 195 deer I've seen posted on the internet.

191 to 193 I would dare say

I liked it big...fondler doesn't

It has been officially scored. That is the only reason I put it on here because I knew the MM official measuring crew would have their own opinion.

Rich when you post the # throw in the main beam 's number just for me...
PS one of my driveway/garden bucks shed one side this AM.

I'm thinking about the same as most of you guys. Somewhere around the low 180s.

There's always next year

Only having tried to score a couple of my own,I can't see over 170. If it is I'm going to get mine scored. Nice buck though.

+1 DW

And the mass of a mans wrist?

I assumed it was Rich's arm in the photo? I've only seen him Rich once but to my memory he is not a small guy.

Again Great buck, give congrats to your wife from me please!

Here is the score. It has been officially scored and will be entered into long hunters record book.

Main beams: Rt: 24 2/8. Lt: 24 1/8

Gross NT: 188 1/8

Gross typical: 182 2/8

Net typical: 175 0/8

Guess are all pretty close. Only one point on base made the 1 inch mark and the kicker on the driver side.

Here is a picture of my CO 2nd season buck from same unit. I have not had it scored.

I almost feel like i should win a prize. My first thought was 188 gross but Sierra had taken that number with the first post so i had to go a little higher or lower... great buck, close enough, Thanks!!

Lost, That second season buck is a toad!

Lmfao! Classic case of footinmouth syndrome!

Idahobone,

How about a friendly wager. If the same score and buck doesn't show up in the long hunter book when it comes out under my wife's name I owe you a thousand bucks. If it does, you owe me a thousand bucks... Deal

LAST EDITED ON Jan-15-15 AT 09:31PM (MST)[p]Lost, don't let these guys bother you and spoil it for guys like me and many others that love seeing bigger bucks posted and talked about. From your years here, you have proven to me to be nothing but a outstanding, responsive, helpful, and creditable contributor here. Your word is Gold in my book, just sayin!

Bm28, 99% of the time here when a guy asks for a "score", we talk Gross scores for guessing purposes and might get into the Net score during conversation if it comes close to a Book worthy animal. If you happened to be going Net score with your guess, heck of a job, good on you! :)

Never fails, on every "guess the score thread" there will be at least one person that has to act condescending to everyone and picks a score very different, while telling everyone they don't know what they're talking about. It also never fails that said person ends up being wrong.

Sweet buck. I missed it by 4 inches. About a quarter inch per tine and a tiny bit of mass. I feel okay about that!
