So I'm looking for a good mule deer hunt for 10k or less. Would prefer less. lol. I don't care if its archery muzz or rifle. Just want the best chance at a good mule deer. I am a DIY type of guy but now that I have the means to go on better hunts I'm up for anything. I went last year to Alberta and got a great buck but was looking at other options for this year. Having gone on close to 100 hunts this was the 2nd time I ever went guided. Waiting on a deer to cross a small chunk of land that they have permission on takes a special guy to do it. Had a blast but I felt like a caged animal. I'm used to hunting WY and CO and all the western states where a guy can wonder around. I have done a lot of research already just thought I would bounce some ideas out there off u guys. Thanks Aaron

PM me if u like

I have a lot of points in a lot of states too.

Wyoming region G guided?
Some of those guys really get things done for their hunters.
Just a thought

If you really like going unguided why not buy a 4th season Colorado landowner tag for a great unit and hunt the way you want to?

That's the best suggestion I've heard. Why didn't I think of that?

I cant do CO because am going there with buds for archery deer this year. Really just want a rut hunt of some sort.

Nevada has some landowner tags, but most end just pre rut. Some Utah CWMU's have great bucks. No real rut hunts here in Wyoming.

You could go back to Alberta. Not sure where you went, but some places in the SE corner have huge areas to hunt. No concern with waiting on a buck to cross from the neighbor's.

Even a few sandhills hunts in Nebraska where they are killing 10- bucks.

Best of luck.
