I have seen four different Bucks this week still packing both sides.I thought it was late in the year myself. I saw one of them this morning with one side gone I bet the big old heavy sets have been off for awhile.The ones I seen were young three and four points. Like the one in your picture.

Its getting later but not really way late yet in my experience. I've seen bucks packing horns when I go on my Steelhead trip to Challis every year the first week of April. Some just don't like to see them go

It's interesting how they can drop horns with the early ones in January and late ones in April but they all go hard horned usually within a two week or less period.

What I have seen is that moat have dropped. Any way in SD they have. What is everyone else seeing?

I saw a hundred bull elk at the beginning of march (6th) and 90% still had horns. I thought they dropped in Jan?
