Hiked in last night to look at the buck we dubbed "Blackjack" last year. Here's a bit of video of him. Just not huge, but sure has lots of points!!!

Is he a taker in your book?

That is a great deer with a ton of character. Give him another month to grow and you will be more excited, especially to take him with your bow.

Nice buck! I would love to see him in September. He would be hard to pass up but I agree he would look even better next year.

Every hunting season you miss is one you can not make up

Any extra points get my adrenaline going. That buck has a lot going on. I'm excited to see what he looks like when he's done growing. I love nontypical bucks.

This is one of those times where it really just doesn't matter what he scores, he's awesome, and I'd be after him.

General season or should I say easier to draw limited entry unit, because that's essentially what the state has become. Anybody that passes that buck up is kidding themselves. What an awesome, unique rack, once in lifetime buck for sure. I am betting he puts on a significant amount of bone this next month. Good luck hunting him. Look forward to seeing his progress.

Yes he a good looker, By archery season I believe he will several guys chasing him.

I think he will finish out nicely!! Lots of character and you are really starting to develop a relationship with him. He is a shooter.

Give that deer another year and he could explode. I think he's one you risk letting live and pray he makes it through the season. Next year he could truly be a stud!

If you are worried about him being a "little buck", I'll try for him and let you see how little he really is :)
I think hes very unique and no way I'd pass on him.
