Mule deer mount

This was the first time I ever went Mule deer hunting and the only Mule deer I ever harvested. As they say "I'd rather be lucky than good" as you can see I'm Lucky!

I was able to draw same tag the following year 2008 with no success and I think in 09 NM changed the rules for NR's and I've never applied in NM again.
I'm still applying for Utah no tags yet.
Another thing I think I hit close to the top of the bar with this one it could only be down hill from here LOL!

No, it wasn't scored by B&C. I'm not sure what it would score. Maybe in the 180's?
I guess I should have it measured.

Hi Camper, I posted the hunt pics and story back in Oct 2007. I didn't write in this post, but I was also killed out by 8:30 opening morning! When I go hunting I'm either extremely lucky or I don't see a thing. LOL!

Great buck Joe. I hunted 2b rifle in 2006 and 2007. Both were outstanding years. In 2006 the migration was nearly complete by the season began and there were bucks everywhere. I doubt there has been a better year in the last 25 seasons. Congrats again. That buck has great front ends.
