Here's a buck my grandpa killed back in the day. He gave the antlers to my dad and they had been lying outside the shed for years. One year for my grandpa's birthday, my dad and uncles pitched in and had the rack restored and mounted with a hide from a buck my dad had previously killed. The buck is now my dad's and hangs in the trophy room.

Very cool! And the story to go with it. Would love to have my hands on some of gramps old trophies, but as many did in that era, they're long gone.
