My brother in law sent this one to me a couple days ago from Colorado. What do you think he'd score?

Call me a terrible judge, but I'm thinking he's much larger than 180 gross, I'm thinking he's got to gross mid to upper 190s with those great forks all around.

Better than 180. I'd say 190 and a skosh more. Super deep forks that start low. Great genetics.

Awesome looking buck but I'm gonna say he won't break 180. I'm gonna say mid 170's. He has awesome forks but is too short on his back end. It's hard to make 180 with 13" g2's and weak mass.

If you want a buck that scores 180", you will be ecstatic walking up on this guy and putting a tape to him. If you are wanting a 190" buck, you'll be sweatin it until you actually get a tape to him, and I'm going to say he's coming up just short of that mark.

185"

Low 180 closer to 180 then 190 IMO.

I have a similar buck...with about 2 inches less on each measurments, he is 175.
This buck has to be mid 180s. Heck of a deer!

I was thinking mid 180's when I received the photos. I won't be chasing this buck as he is in a different unit than I drew. Hopefully I can find one like him in 66 this rifle season

LAST EDITED ON Sep-01-15 AT 09:25AM (MST)[p]I measure from the corner of the eye to the end of the nose a straight line for taxidermy forms. That measurement on a big buck is usually very close to 7 inches. If you look at the 2nd picture you can measure 7 inches and compare tine length with that scale. He has longer tines than some think IMO.
