stag buck muzzy hunt utah

I have been hunting this deer for 2 years. During the archery hunt I could get close but I would always have to back out and try again another day. I told myself that I am hunting this deer until he is on the ground by me or somebody else. I hunted hard for him the first three days of Muzz but he went nocturnal. My son Jensen and I ended up bumping him on a walk on the 4th day. We both shot and I'm not sure who actually hit him and I don't care this was one of the best hunts of my life. This deer just did it for me I saw allot of bucks that would score way better but its not often you see a stag buck with crazy bases and 29 1/2 inches wide.

That is an awesome buck! Coincidentally I also shot a stag buck on the utah general muzzy hunt! Very unique. Congrats!

Does anybody know on these stag/velvet bucks that carry velvet year round if you have to treat them with formaldehyde to preserve the velvet just as you would an early season velvet buck?
