40" Buck and other giants... Vid

Made a trip out to Alcatraz last weekend. Happy to report a lot of big, big bucks. Put together this video. I know the first buck is not that clear. He was over a mile away and I just had the video camera. Hopefully, you can tell how enormous he is. Filmed other great, great bucks as well. Watch in HD for best results.

Any guesses on scores for the "40-wide", or "Rut Crazed Buck", or the "7x7"..??

Some nice bucks! love the kids response, way to start them off young!! You will have some great years ahead of you "guiding" them on the JR hunts. Enjoy it, it goes by pretty quick

IMO 40" is a stretch for sure, but great buck none-the-less.

It's cool the kids were along.

I realize he may not make that 40" mark... However, I was trying to judge based on the distance from the middle of his head out to the tips of his ears, and then it looked like almost the same distance from his eartips to his antler tips. So, I thought 40" wide would garner more interest than 38.5" wide.

And yes, the kids love it. My 3 year-old wanted me to shoot every buck we saw. It was pretty funny. He started crying because I rolled up the window by him because a mosquito flew in. He told me he couldn't see with the window up. It was pretty adorable.
