LAST EDITED ON Jan-24-16 AT 07:35PM (MST)[p]My dad is new to the St George he is wanting to get back into hunting. I have hunted Az northern utah and Colorado. He has been told to put in for general pine valley unit but no idea where to start scouting. any ideas would be great.

Migration plays a big role in hunting down there. So scouting in the summer doesn't help finding them during the hunt. Unless he is doing archery or muzz.
