This is my buck from 2014 that I just got back. A friend of mine that does taxidermy on the side did the mount. I built the base and did all the habitat. Eventually a grouse will go in the case when I shoot one this fall. Sorry can't seem to get the pics to rotate the right way.

First off, congrats on a great looking buck and then on a awesome finish to your trophy and mount. Thanks for sharing

Thanks for all the positive comments. I just about didn't do the pedestal but my taxi buddy convinced me I needed to, glad I did. Turned out as good as I hoped. Here's another cool display I did with a buck I shot and my wife's first that we shot on the same hunt.

My hunting spot is so secret, not even the elk have found it yet.

I been meaning to cut in and give my Congrats on you getting such a fine buck. I like the looks of the country behind you guys too. That buck is the kind that i have hunted so hard for, for so many years but just was never able to get...

Congrats again, a freakin Toad!

I must have missed this thread....

That is a dream buck in some dream country! Thank you for sharing that incredible buck with us! Very nice taxi work too!

Congrats on a gorgeous buck! To echo what has been said already, that's one of the best looking mounts I've ever laid eyes on!

I'm looking at that beautiful mount and I'm wondering if you scored him? Does he make the magic number? I'm guessing he just might?

Thanks again. We spent plenty of time putting the head together since it may very well be my biggest buck I'll get, so we wanted him as perfect as possible. He just misses the magical 200. His left G4 is his only real weakness. He ended up 196~. I will keep dreaming and looking for one just as big or bigger.
