LAST EDITED ON Apr-13-16 AT 10:53AM (MST)[p]How many of you keep tabs on deer year after year? These 3 bucks plus one more I never got a picture of all survived last year. I took out my number 2 buck last year so numbers 1,3,4, and 5 are still out there.

Number 1: I'm guessing 205" typical

Number 2: I wasn't able to get a pic of but guessing 200" typical.

Number 3: I'm guessing 198" with a split main beam and two inlines you can't see here.

Number 4: I'm guessing 184" with an absolute tank of a body.

Those are big ones marley. Hope you get one this year. Here's three I'd like to see again this year. Not sure if they survived last year or not.

Brian, I guess you are heading back to "YOUR SPOT" this year? Good luck, I hope you get him. I wish Jason could go and get redemption too. I would love to return and hunt that spot some day. Way fun area.

I do have a hit list and try to let some of them grow up. Problem is some of them disappear and never to be found again. Guessing some of them end up getting killed. I have some young up and comers located but they are a few years away. It's fun to have sheds and photos of bucks before they end up on the wall.

Here's #2 from last year. My #1 took off right at light due to the group of five hunters walking right into him. They never saw him so I grabbed my gear and ran up the mountain to see if I could catch him running up the other side. On my way up I saw my #2 step out of the trees at 650 yards. As bad as I wanted to continue after #1, I just couldn't pass up this opportunity. One shot right through the heart.

Impressive #2. Great buck. I would definitely pull the trigger on something like that. Would be hard to pass. You made good choice on putting the hammer down on him. Congrats

My top 5 from last year are all dead, numbers 6-7 are still young bucks that should be bigger this year. Hoping to find a new stud this summer!

I am scouting and hunting an entirely new area this coming season. It's pretty close to my new house and consists of mainly foot access. I hope to be able to pattern some decent animals this year. In seasons past I have noticed that it usually takes 2-3 seasons before I really start to learn the area.
Hopefully having more experience under my belt will turn up some better bucks sooner than later.

You guys have some awesome hitlists and proves that you're putting in the time on the same areas year after year. You deserve to drop a whopper when you invest time like that. Good luck!
