LAST EDITED ON Apr-13-16 AT 02:17PM (MST)[p]Any information you could provide for Wyoming areas 34 and are 10 for mule deer hunting. I am a non-resident and these areas were suggested. I am not finding much information and I assuming there is a reason. Any suggestions on an area I should apply to would be greatly appreciated.

Do you know how to go into the G&F website to check for the odds of drawing each LQ unit or General tag, as well as how to check for the proposed quotas and season dates for this season? That is the first thing you need to do to see what you can draw by even paying the higher priced Special fee in that drawing. For starters, of those you mentioned unit 10 is a poor unit that went to LQ from the General tag several years ago because of dwindling deer numbers. It can be drawn at 100% with 0PPs in the Special, but I sure wouldn't recommend spending money on it for a first time hunter. Unit 34 is a good deer unit with very good public access and consequently took <5PPs for just a 50% chance to draw a tag in the Special Draw and was 0% with <6PPs in the Regular Draw. If I were you I'd be looking at a General tag that has a high chance of drawing in the Special Draw if you want to hunt this year. Check things out closely and send me a PM for any help you may need from here on out, as I'd be happy to help you. However, you need to do some good homework on your own first.

Thank you, I will do as you suggest and circle back. I appreciate your advice and willingness to help.

There are enoigh deer to make it a good hunt in 10. I jave friends who know the area and report good pockets of deer if you put in some work. Get a tag and go hunt.
