Fillmore unit utah?

Anyone ever hunt in that unit? My dad got a buck tag this year and we have never hunted there. What should we expect?

I've hunted it, but it's been a while ago. Deep canyons. Aspen and pines high, some oak lower. Is he archery, muzzleloader or rifle hunting? There are some good bucks down there.

Rifle, we will surely have to do some scouting this summer and we dont know where to start!

Like founder stated its steep and rugged country! very doable with a rifle. unit holds some great bucks and a few monsters lurk as well. Scout as much as you can and you should have a great hunt.

How many pts did your dad have?

My dad only had 1 point and is a non resident, dont know what the odds are for that unit but it was his fifth choice
