Unit 551, 3rd Season

Hello,

Hoping to get any and all info on 551, 3rd season. This will be my first mule deer hunt in CO. Not expecting anyone's sweet spot. Just hoping for some good information to get this flatlander headed in the right direction.

Also, what would be the best options for lodging or camping? Have a wall tent with stove and wouldn't mind that at all. I'm sure there will be a chance for cold weather. Am familiar with cold weather camping on multiple Alaska DIY moose and caribou float hunts.

I am not very familiar with this unit, but it has some good bucks in it. Your wall tent would be perfect. That time of year the weather varies a lot. It could be nice and warm or it could cold and/or snowy. Always prepare for the latter. Good luck, I hope to hear how you did this fall.
