Unit 40 Idaho ?

I drew a unit 40 deer tag.I have waited along time for it.Looking for any helpful info.I am not asking anyone's honey hole just some places to start.Thank you in advance.

Rifle Tag? Are you familiar with the unit at all? How much time do you have to scout? a lot of it is weather dependant for the rifle tag, get em moving and rutting. I would atart scouting in October to find your buck or an area with a lot of does or migration routes. Do you have a starting point in mind? I hunt the unit archery, little different ballgame then. As October approaches if you haven't found anything get ahold of me and I might be able to point you in a direction!! Til then...scout, scout, scout

Rifle tag yes. I am somewhat familiar with the area I have antelope hunted several times,and deer hunted with a friend. I do have time to scout and I do not live to far from the unit.Thanks for the input.

I've hunted that unit years ago. Seen some really nice bucks in that unit. Try around War Eagle Mt. and somewhat west of there too.
