that is a huge buck......as an OM and always looking at "net", I wish he didn't have those cheaters...

I'm gonna say he will gross right around 200 IMO I'm guessing a 185-190 frame and about 10-12" extras.

Net score is dumb. Why take away from a rack that grew all those extra inches?
I mean the deer grew it. The only thing that matters to me is gross score. Net score punishes a deer for being unique.

yep...you're right....

I'll look for "theox records of north america" book...Maybe I'll apply to be an OM

SCI scores without deducting. While B&C is looking for the "perfect" symmetrical framed buck.
So all us "gross" scorers can just state SCI next to our score guesses.:)

There's always next year

Sorry didn't mean to offend. Just saying Who cares about a record book! The buck grew those inches by golly he deserves it. I like b&c but I hate that it penalizes for not being perfect on all sides.

oh...you didn't offend me at all. Believe it or not, B&C records are not "trophy" records...they are scientific records. "WE" as trophy hunters have made it about the "trophy".

Yea I got what ur sayin.
I just think a deer like that deserves the respect for growing those inches.

I don't like sci because they don't preach fair hunt like bc does.

I'll continue to not care about net and stick to gross.

SCI has two category's for fair chase and non fair chase. Check out their score cards.

I'm calling him a book buck either way, I got him bending the tape around 205-207

I understand that I just don't agree with their stance on canned hunts. Why have a record book for a bought and paid for penned animal?

"as an OM and always looking at "net", I wish he didn't have those cheaters... "

Well good day, old chap, (said in an irritating, snobby English accent) Please pass the crumpets and sparkling wine while I OFFICIALLY MEASURE these gawd awful antlers with those despicable cheaters and extras! Oh drab!!

Cancer doesn't discriminate...don't take your good health for granted because it can be gone in a heartbeat. Please go back and read the last line. This time really understand what it says.

Hes okay.. 190 maybe as a typical.. He looks like a young buck still.. Id let him be for a few more years, find his sheds if possible. Two more years and your looking at a potential idaho record if he doesn't get injured.
