I found a couple Legends last weekend and got some photos, check these 2 monsters out, I called them Beauty and the Beast, even though I'm pretty sure they have different names from some of the locals in the area.

I really like how this one turned out, I did some editing on it and made it into my background on my computer.

Are these antelope island bucks? Very nice bucks! I believe William Allard wildlife photography on Facebook had pictures of these same two bucks.

It would be very difficult to get 3 bucks in the same frame as big as those 3 are. Very cool. Thanks for sharing. I am all about letting Mule Deer Bucks mature, and there you have a great example of what they can become, If they get a chance. Yes, Zeke I have a hard on for big bucks like that. I can't even blink my eyes right now. And I don't care where they are that's sweet.

I'd never deny a guy a chance for a good hard-on but I'm still trying to figure out my connection to the photo.....other than I'm trying for one like that this year.

DWR should be shipping 200---300 doe's to the island before the rut after the rut is done pick them back up and ship them back to the unit they came from, seem like a good way to move in some good genetic to a given area, I would think it could help areas like book cliffs with those crab forks bucks. Do the same thing down on the Henry's then drop those doe's back in Dixie NF around Cedar city, Parowan, Beaver, etc

Tell me why it wouldn't work the same as just moving deer(doe's) from one area and then leaving them in a new home from then on.
Maybe someone from DWR will see this and get a small try.

No not taking doe's from the island BUT bring them in and having them get bred then haul them back to their home range.
So they are still local deer carrying the genetic of the Island. should work I think.

The island bucks all have a smile on their faces after hearing your proposal!

Why wouldn't it work? Who'd pay the bill for such an event? They'd have to auction off a couple more tags somewhere in order to make that happen but that's too polarizing around these parts to ever work.

So, here you sit with a great idea to move some genes around and it can't happen.
