What a great tag to draw. My son hunted two years ago and we had a blast.

Your two nephews are in for a great time! I'm sure maddog58 will fill you in as I filled him in a few years ago.
I was up last year for the last weekend of the hunt and saw more deer than I have seen in several years, including a couple of great bucks.

Slinginlead really helped us out. That's what's great about here people are always willing to help the youth hunters out. You can't even imagine the hunt you are going to have

Make sure you go to Schatz bakery in Bishop and get pastries and sandwiches. Truly fantastic. Enjoy the whole area for what it has

And the bowling alley has really good dinners too.

My son got a nice 6x4 that scored 159. Not bad for an Inyo mule deer

Had our eye on a 35" buck but by the time we found him he had broken off his right side below his forks
