Book Cliffs Help

My wife drew out her first tag ever and it happens to be a Book Cliffs rifle tag for the end of October for the road area. I was reading that DWR will be burning a large area. Just curious if anyone have any ideas of some decent areas to check? We will be going up the two weekends prior to do scouting, but could use some help of some areas to check. We will be entering from the Vernal side and staying more on the northern end. Thanks in advance for the help.

The rifle deer is not divided by road and roadless, it is divided north or south. Might want to check your info before you head out. Other than that, the hunt is dependant on weather.

I'm thinking this guy's wife has the North Tag, probably..?? If so, they will be hunting north of the Divide Road and not in the direction of I-70...

I hope he knows what is going on with her tag...
