Able to get it done. Opening day started off early 230 am. We had a 3 hour drive to get to where we wanted. She slept most of it minus the 6 donuts she ate. But we got there and started our 3/4 of mile hike in. Only to find 10 does and no bucks. So after the sun was up we ended up jumping a few bucks and chasing them up and down and back up the hill. For a few missed shots and tired girl. So we took a afternoon nap and started again. At 2 pm we found a bed buck so the plan was made and stalk began. Almost there and we see them running away. We had another hunter chasing other deer in the bowl completely upwind of our buck. Oh well on we go. Onto other deer. On our way to the other place stopping for a freak hail storm. This deer stood up at 350 yards with 5 buddies. We put a stalk on him closing the distance to 130 yards when she was able to get her shot off.
