My buck after a long hard hunt... Just a couple pics. but thinking about a published story. Very easy to draw NR Tag, a general tag for residents... I got him late in afternoon over 2 miles in. Did not have game bags for meat (left in my wife's pack) so had to gut and prop up too cool. Headed back in the morning to pack out.

Here was the As it lay. It was a 60 yard neck shot he went straight down wiggled head a touch.

Great buck and looks like my kind of country. Congrats and I'll look for the story elsewhere later.

LAST EDITED ON Oct-10-16 AT 11:35AM (MST)[p]Hi Rob, and congratulations on a nice wide buck. I will let Jonathan and Justin (my sons who you helped with a late youth cow elk hunt two years ago) know that you scored on a nice buck so they can also be happy for you.

My hunting spot is so secret, not even the elk have found it yet.

Every hunting season you miss is one you can not make up

That's a heck of a nice buck - congrats!! And like someone posted that's really some nice country to hunt in.

Very nice buck. Have seen several nice ones coming out of Wyoming this year. Maybe I better start applying for a tag.

Congrats on a great buck, Rob. He's a trophy in my book.

Cancer doesn't discriminate...don't take your good health for granted because it can be gone in a heartbeat. Please go back and read the last line. This time really understand what it says.

You did real good. Dandy buck! If you do write a story on your hunt, I'd be thrilled to share it on the site here.

If I end up with that deer's twin brother on my Book Cliffs Rifle hunt coming up here in Utah, I'd walk away a happy man..!! He's a very nice deer..!! I love when their antlers do a little bit of a "curl in" at the tips like that...

Thanks for sharing your success..!!

Rob, that's a stud buck! Now were gonna expect you to shoot one like that every year up there ;-)

Did you find him scouting?

Congratulations
