Folks, this is what successful state management looks like! The State of Utah invested in their constituents and their wildlife by listening to its citizens?and, they did this without the help from federal policies and out-of-state and out-of-touch environmental groups.

What would we do without them?

Haha! So how do they explain that the deer taken are considered average deer for other states like CO? And those others states did not sell out to big money and corruption!

Bgf/$fw, dont explain anything, they cash checks.

I really appreciate Big Game Forever ensuring that 3 of the last 4 winters were mild... That has really helped the herds. :)

It sure does not hurt to try to keep the predators in check. good to here, deer were up in wyoming as well, doing good here in oregon. now if only the colorado elk will play this 3rd season.

I am not against the predator control and support/partake, but could this have something to do with lack of yearling deer?

I noticed a lot less small bucks this year (work/play/hunting) which may correlate to the snow we receive last winter in utah resulting in a fawn kill?

Just my observation a foot this year. Not sure if there was any publications on winter kill this year.
