Lol. I have not shot a deer from the road in many years my buddy shot the 3 point we got it packed back to the road at 1pm and on the way back to camp saw my buck off the road. Guess I am a road hunter! Usually use the gutless method it was nice to have some fresh heart and liver, don't usually pack that stuff.

That is cool! I had a similar experience with elk a few years ago too, so welcome to the "road hunters"
