Colorado 3 rd season

Looking for some info don't need nothing exact or do I want to take anybody's hunting spot , I have a 3 rd season 62 tag in Colorado on public land any where I should start looking I have never hunted the public in this unit , Iam a avid hunter can get after it on the hill steep long days don't bother me just trying to see where to start looking any locations?

hunt lower in the pinon/sage, blm that transitions the N.F. walk & glass & you should do well, Should still see some good bucks high depending on weather. The whole unit hold good bucks, just a matter of holding out & putting in a lot of time & you may & I say May still go home with a meat buck the last day our so. I will be hunting elk in the area during the 3rd season, Good luck
