I realize I'm kind of in no man's land. I might have a shot at one of the 12's but the new 20% pass deal hurt me.Based upon the 2016 report it looks like it took 19 points to guarantee a tag in any of the 12's. Odds drop fast after that. With point creep it could be 10 years or more before I draw that tag. Is anyone familiar with the late 27 hunt or have any other input on the good use of my points ? I'd go guided (I'm from Wisconsin with no time to scout). I'm 60 and in good shape but I want to hunt. A chance at a 180 type buck would be great. THANKS for any advice you're willing to share. Here are the results of our last TWO years on the late, 12A West hunt..

2015, 136 bucks, day 8:

2016, 117 bucks, Last day, last minute buck:

We passed this buck not once, but TWICE! Rick wanted more JUNK!

Friend of mine lady friend was on her first mule deer hunt and took him second day they were there, which was day 8.

Yea, I know..

Kaibab just keeps getting better every year!
