Not my buck but I was given it by my FIL, he shot it back in the day when he was 20 or so, said he was just hiking some mountain in S. Idaho and this was the first buck that came out, hes not much of a trophy hunter. 32 inches from kicker to kicker and carries its mass very well. Sorry about the yellowing in the picture i think im due for a new point and shoot.

Very cool buck and those old timers generally just threw them out on the roof of the barn or nailed them on a board and hung them on the porch. Or let the dog chew them up. My dad had quite a few of those from back in the day and he always said "well you can't eat the horns".

You wouldn't turn that buck down. That left G4 is insane. Thanks for sharing. Score?

I scored him at 211 3/8, when I first saw him I was expecting 220+, his measurements are 83 3/8 la 84 2/8 ra, 20 2/8 spread credit, and 23 4/8 extras credit. Mainframe 4 typical (plus eyeguards) score is at 187 and change.

I can honestly say I've never seen a buck of this caliber in a unit I could hunt, the way he carries his mass is crazy.

You got to get lucky occasionally. I had the frame at 185 and 27"s of extras. Great buck.

YBO Is Over Scoring them Again!:D:D:D
