Eaglecap muleys

I'm planning to go into the eagle caps this fall for a couple day mule deer hunt with my freind.we have thought about going to brownie basin but we are not sure,what lakes/areas seem to have the best buck populations,and how far out are they?

LAST EDITED ON May-29-17 AT 12:16PM (MST)[p]Archery or rifle?? Have you hunted there before?? Its big steep country and the weather can really mess up your hunt especially if the fog settles in when your up high. You will have plenty of company in there regardless of how far in you get.
I would suggest calling Pat Matthews the local bio out of Enterprise, he knows that herd about as good as anyone. They had a rough winter in that area so might be a tough year - good luck though its beautiful country!!
