Alpine mule deer

David Long's Public Land Mulies: The Bottom Line is a good read, as well as Eastman's Hunting High Country Mule Deer. Glassing is a great way to see some awesome country and find bucks. There is nothing like being up top somewhere. That being said, high country basins aren't the only places mature bucks hangout.

You need binoculars and spotting scope. As stated above, I would get David Longs book or any other mule deer book. Goodluck, fatrooster.

I agree that sunrise and sunset are very productive, but don't overlook the rest of the day. You will be able to pick out a lot of bedded bucks during the day in some places. Also, they get up, stretch and snack/move once during the day as well.
