What's your opinion, is this the same buck? The velvet pics are from 2014. The buck was killed last year by the guys at Non-typical Outfitters. I didn't look for the buck in 2015 and didn't see him in 2016. I just got looking at the bucks they killed last year and thought these two ooked an awful lot alike. Thought I'd see what you all thought.???
I can't see the split in the ear on the harvested buck, but it may just be the angle.

I definitely think its the same buck, just 2 years older and bigger!

Has so many of the same exact characteristics with respect to tine location and cheater location. If you had a view of the split ear, it would verify it.

I think there's a good chance it is the same buck. Check out the cheaters on the buck's left G2, that isn't a very common configuration in my experience.

Absolutely no!

Same gene pool, but that split would not heal and its low enough on the velvet buck you would see it on the dead buck

I'd say no, but close resemblance. Several differences in antlers and the split ear is my factors here.

Absolutely Not the Same Buck!

Back Me Off to 1,700 Yards,650 is a Little Close & I'm Not Comfortable with it!

A GUT SHOT at 1,700 Yards will Still Make Some Good BRAGGIN Rights so I Can Say I At Least Hit Him!

I don't see that being the same buck. Now that it's unanimous founder can keep looking for that 3 x 3 with a couple extras. There's a chance he's still alive
