LAST EDITED ON Sep-24-17 AT 03:34PM (MST)[p]I drew this tag this year from some advice I got from a friend. Come to find out he has not ever hunted this unit. So I am starting from scratch. I drew the tag by myself also to make it even more interesting. I am planning on hunting the whole season and I'm willing to hike into remote areas if need be and conditions require it. If any of you would be willing to share some areas to look into I would be very appreciative. I'm may try and scout before the hunt but since this can be a migration hunt I'm not sure thatthe scouting intel will be useful come the hunt.

LAST EDITED ON Sep-24-17 AT 05:52PM (MST)[p]Ha ha a little sensitive ehhh?
It was a serious question. WHY WOULD YOU PUT IN FOR A UNIT FROM ADVICE OF SOMEONE THAT HAS NEVER HUNTED IT??
I hunt this unit a lot, And just returned. Since you want to be a Douche bag, the only help I can offer is Pull up your skirt. I hope you eat tag soup. :7

MM is not the US government, so there is no entitlement program. So it means that info is usually shared thru relationships. Not off to a good start. I have no info on the unit, so can't help you. And there are probably some who will, but you have already ruled out many. Hope you have a great hunt!

Thanks txhunter58

But Entitled come on ???? If this is what this forum is about you can have it. I like Brian's stuff and thought his forum my possibly be a resource. I will be patient and see if there are others that might be willing to help.

I would expect that if your friend recommended that unit to you he must know something about it. There are many units in CO there would have to be a reason that he would mention an off the radar unit just because. Depending on how many points you burned you may be disappointed if the recommendation was on a whim???

Your right kickerbuck I wish I knew more but im hopeful things will work out.i see the draw odds are a little harder than average but the landowners tags are expensive maybe some really good lowland country.

The private isn't worth a damn. You are buying the LO tag to hunt the public.
The steep draw odds and overpriced LO tags are 100% from Huntin Fool and a few others Pumping up an average unit with below average genetics. For 7 points or $3,500 you could hunt a better unit. And that's The HONEST truth!

Having said that, it is a fun, tough hunt. You won't see a ton of bucks but you might find a good one. Just like every unit in Colorado.

Hey booty?

Next time you're out of town let me know!

I Know somebody that's about ready for a little more Eye Contact!:D
