My wife got it done with one shot, but due to my poor instructions she shot the wrong one. Then I missed the wall hanger when I realized she shot the wrong one. Still a nice buck for her.

The wrong buck, huh? I did that once. Watched the one I really wanted bound off. Kind of a sickening feeling as I recall.
Your wife did good though. Real nice one. Can't wait to see what you get with just a few days left. Hope you're out there getting after it.

Cool looking Buck, Yep I'm thinking she needs a better guide. LOL

You are totally from Wyoming when this buck isn't considered a Wall-Hanger... LOL

I'm glad you were able to get it done on a very nice buck. Reports from some friends/family in Wyoming this year are not very positive on deer caliber.

That looks like a fine buck! Great photo with the two of you framed between the antlers. Would make a fine anniversary announcement.

I was nearby when she shot it and she said she was disappointed and thought it was too small. She got it after just a few hours of hunting on her first day out. Not bad considering her husband hunted 12 days and came home with zilch.
