What does he score?

This is my first and only mule deer to date. I was more than happy with the size and beauty of this buck, but was always curious what score class he was.

I lost my house and this mount in a fire a few months back and would love to get back out to Colorado this year to hunt.

I know there are plenty of bigger bucks but if he is a, let's say "130" class buck, then it would help me better decide what units I could apply for and not need a ton of points.

Thanks.

Congrats on a fine buck. Just the eyeball test, without any math, says about mid 140's. Lots of guys on here that are better than me on this so it'll be interesting to see what they have to say. Sorry about your house and mount. I hope you find another one that makes you happy. good luck on your hunt ! Chip

Thanks guys for the responses.

Seems like then that most units in Colorado I'll have a chance at a buck like this if I work hard enough.

It's already been 4 years since my last Co hunt and I don't need to wait for a 160"-170" potential unit.

The fire has changed our lives greatly. Hoping to restore my soul with an out of state hunt.

Personally I am glad you never measured him. He is a fine trophy and memory, so that is all you will ever need to know.

I don't think that was me, but my Father lost his house next door to mine and my dad has been fighting cancer for the last few months. Life has been hard but the support has gotten us through. I just try to be thankful because I still have much to be thankful for.

I'm not as much of a trophy hunter as many members here. If I could fill my walls with 140"-160" bucks, I'd trade away any 'right' to hunt after a 200" buck... Lots more memories that way, I think.

This is a great buck, and a great mount..!! I think he's about 140"...

Totally agree! ^^^^^^^

Hopefully its not an "either / or" for you. I hope you have many good hunts and get to walk up to a 200 incher at least once. Its quite a feeling !

(Get ready for change because it's going to happen!)

I would think it's around 140". That is a really cool mount.
