Drew a moose tag in this area, pretty shocked I wasn't expecting this at all considering my point situation. Wondering about the area for moose how is the success rate, and is it a tag worth keeping? Thoughts? Thanks in advance!

Let's put this In perspective. How many points did you have? You already stated it surprised you that you drew because of your points.

You won't live long enough to draw the wasatch. Even if you're 2 points behind max, you won't live long enough.

Go hunt the hunt and move on and consider yourself lucky.

I had 2 points, only put in for moose every other year, so yes I am very lucky to have this tag. Yes your probably right, I might not ever draw the tag I really want for moose.

Why did you put it on your application if you didn't already want to hunt that unit or at least expect that there was a possibility you would draw?

Hunt the tag it's oil.

My family has have the tag 2 out of last 3 years. Definitely don't turn it back in. I'd love to give you any and all information I have. Message me and we can set up a phone call.

I say turn it back in, give the people that want to hunt that unit a chance at it.

Not really sure why you would have put in for a tag you didn't want. just seems stupid. Hell if you needed to get lucky might of well as tried for the tag you wanted.
