Including archery, muzzy, there are 5 seasons for deer in that unit.

And the answer is different for all 5 seasons.

Its a junior tag so its valid from august to the beginning of november but we weill be going for the rifle season so we plan to go all october

I had a fun mid season rifle hunt a couple years ago. Didn?t fing the giant that I know Nevada has but found this cool deer. You should have a great hunt and I sure hope you find one of those giants.

Looks like you did okay to me. That buck is way cool. Looks like around 30" of trash on a mid-60's frame? Great H1 measurements! I'd take a buck like that any day! Been to Nevada for deer 4 times and never killed anything that good!

With the junior tag I would hunt the last week of the season, especially the last 2 days.

And hunt the southern part of 222.

Hey Sergio how did the cow hunt go in 222? I have an archery cow tag for that unit this year

I got a cow in the 2nd day of my hunt, shot it at first light in the flats close to a water. If I had to make a prediction is the herd came down to water during the night and they were heading for higher elevation right at first light

WOW! On that cool buck. Just curious, are those droppers brow tine, or a set of independently growing antlers; how would you punch your tag on that guy? I don't usually count brow tine when punching my tag.

The area to be in during the late hunt, or last 2 days of the youth hunt.

When I had the late tag, the youth were hunting the first 2 days of our season. Is it still that way?
