WYOMING UNIT 34?

I put in for 34 and should get drawn with 9 points in special. ? is I have heard things from a few people I know ,just asking the public what to expect quality wise and pressure wise now that they added 100 more tags. I am from AZ. and never hunted it. Thanks ....BULL!

I hunted the unit for antelope last year and saw a good amount of mule deer bucks. Lots of small bucks and nothing over 150? 4x4. There may be something bigger, I just didn't see it. Good luck and have fun.

My bad. Hunting Muleys. Had to cash in those 9 points as I will be 62 in Sept. I wanted a have way quality hunt while I can still get around pretty good. I will have Elk points to burn next year if anyone has any Ideas for that it would be great. I burn't My lope points 3 years ago .Thanks Guys. I am willing to pay trespass fees in neccasary........BULL!

Huge unit but I too wonder what the extra 100 tags will do to the hunt quality. That unit has been just out of reach with our points for the last couple years. In 2020, Wyoming's turn should be up for a deer hunt in our schedule, so it's definitely one we'll be keeping an eye on. With a couple more mild consecutive winters, some of the surrounding units in the 3-6 point range could be a real solid hunt.

We hunted this unit two years ago. Let me start by saying in no way do I think this unit is worth the points it takes to draw. It is a great unit to see a ton of bucks in the 130-140 class with relative ease. Fun unit to see lots of bucks. Check you maps and try to find hidden spots between roads. That is where we found the best bucks. Most hunters in the unit will just road hunt because mediocre bucks are all over. The best buck we saw in 10 days of hunting was probably 180 which is a great buck for that unit. Feel free to PM me for more info.

Thank you for the offer ,I appreciate it,I'm going to arrive on Oct 11 and stay till the end Oct 31,Alot of the usual Glassing,walking,stay mobile,and have a good trip ,so much negativity about this unit on this Forum,I don't let it bother me, too many negative Hunters.Thanks again will contact you .
