I got my moose tag in the mail the other day, and I am beyond excited about this hunt. I know I posted that I wasn't sure if I was going to keep the tag a little bit ago, but after talking to a few people and that this will probably be my only shot at harvesting a moose, I am going to give her hell. I was looking at my boundaries and man this is a big unit to hunt. I was wondering about Murdock basin. Is it a good area to focus on for moose? Any thoughts on that area up there in general would great.

If he can't find the moose forum, things aren't looking well for an actual moose....
I apologize for not being in the know on this sight, still kinda new to this sight. Its a Utah moose tag south slope yellowstone. From being a long time reader of this website I thought I'd see if I could get any pointers on some different areas. From the looks of it, that doesn't look like its going to be happening, thanks.

You may want to try the Moose forum or the General hunting.
Don't mind some of the old timer smart cracks. This forum is pretty much their whole life.
BTW, I don't know anything about Murdock Basin.
I'd call the DWR and find out who the Biologist over that area is and talk to them.
