How about this one? Is he good enough? Long tines and you have to like the extra points. Not real heavy, but if one gets too picky, then it might be a waste to even go hunting, right?
I think I'd have a hard time not taking this buck if given the chance. Whatcha' all think?

Honestly I might keep looking. I don't think he is quite the deer a lot of people think he is. Wish I could get a look at him besides down. Thanks for sharing.

I'm going to have to agree with Tristate. The mainbeams don't look very long, 20-21" inside spread with 15" G2s. Yeah everything else is good but that is telling me he is a 175-182 type buck. Just my opinion tho

?I'm going to have to agree with Tristate? isn't something you see on monstermuleys too often.
Unless I had found something bigger while scouting I wouldn't be able to pass on him. For most tags if you pass on bucks like that you are going to have to work very hard or get very lucky to find a bigger buck.

He is a nice looking buck. What's the saying most don't like to hear..."give him another year"...? I have doubts he'll make another year...

Definitely a taker for me on a 5-7 day trip and I would likely be trying to figure out what else I could hunt if I saw him early on in a 10-15 day hunt.
