I was pretty excited when I found this buck but I'm starting to wonder if I am over estimating him. Any thoughts?

Thanks guys, your guesses are varying in the same range as mine. I guess I'll have to ground check him}>

I'm seeing 185ish. Can?t tell for sure if the brows will be scorable or not which could give or take a few inches.

My first impression is 180.

He will have some deductions because the left is a little weaker on the front.

But nets are for fishing...

Nice buck.

LAST EDITED ON Aug-26-18 AT 04:47AM (MST)[p]I'm saying the guys who have him in the upper 180?s are pretty damn close!! 187-190? gross is where I'd put him, A shooter IMO!! Yes please Groubd Check him let us kno!!!

I think ground checking him is the best idea. I'm guessing 181" gross and 25" wide. Great buck. Hope you get him.

No turrets on my bow so that's not an option.

I found him again this morning with 3 other four points at 13,000 feet in a spot I wouldn't feel comfortable without a harness and rope. Maybe tomorrow.

Next year he will be a solid buck. You risk someone getting him, or a hard winter. If the area doesn't get hunted, I would put the odds in his favor that he will survive, and that he will be a gagger next year. Definately tough to pass on...

178 or so....??? Let us know when you get him.

Forks looks a bit bigger than a couple of my 170's, so I'm in for the mid 180's.

Knock him down and tell us what prize we won for being closest.

I will guess 182".

He's right around 180. A real solid buck and I agree, he might be a Booner next year. but I'll bet someone whacks him.
